The China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited (CTS) has been officially appointed by The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong (SF&OC) with the approval of The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and The International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the Official Ticket Agent of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Hong Kong Region. Ticket reservation is now open and will be arranged in three phases.

Phase 1: Ticket Reservation and Computerized Ballot. If ticket reservation is more than the total allotment of tickets for Hong Kong, tickets will be alloc a ted by computerized ballot.

Phase 2: Ticket Reservation for remaining / additional tickets available from BOCOG.

Phase 3: Collection of Olympic tickets; Sales of the remaining tickets.

Phase 1: Ticket Reservation and Computerized Ballot (5 June ¡V 25 October 2007)

  1. Ticket reservation for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be open for Hong Kong residents from 5 June 2007 to 31 July 2007.
  2. Ticket Reservation Form is available at CTS branches or you can download the form at www.ctshk.com. You may also submit the Electronic Reservation Form directly via CTS website.
  3. Fill in the Form accordingly.
  4. Ticket Reservation Form can be submitted by:
    4.1 - Drop in into the Collection Box at CTS branch offices; or
    4.2 - By Mail to: 2/F, Tak Bo Building, 62-72 Sai Yee Street, Kowloon. Please mark on the envelop ¡§Olympic Ticket Reservation¡¨.
  5. If there is an over subscription of tickets for any sessions, CTS will use a computerized ballot programme to allocate tickets. Results will be posted on CTS website. Notification Letter will be sent to individual successful applicants by e-mail, fax or mail.
  6. Please redeem the "Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Ticket Exchange Coupon" by presenting your Notification Letter and HKID card to any CTS branch offices between 11 and 25 October 2007 within office hours. Redemption process will be handled once and tickets not confirmed / selected tickets of which payment not settled during redemption will be released automatically.

Phase 2: Ticket Reservation for remaining / additional tickets available from BOCOG
(As from 20 December 2007)

  1. CTS will accept ticket reservation for Olympic Tickets by Hong Kong residents during the period of 20 December 2007 to 10 January 2008. The process will be similar to para. 2 to 5 under Phase 1 (except for para. 4.2, application by mail is not accepted in Phase 2).
  2. Applicants who apply via the website will need to provide Visa card details for payment for tickets once tickets can be allocated. Applications by completing the paper form will need to attach a cheque with total amount of the payment, payable to ¡§China Travel Service (H.K.) Ltd¡¨. Please write down your name and HKID number on the back of the cheque.
  3. Ballot winners will need to complete the ticket purchase process by bringing the Notification Letter at any of the CTS branch offices during office hours between 22 January and 22 February 2008. For those apply by cheque please go back to the same branch office to complete the purchase process. Process shall be completed in one step. The CTS will bank in the cheque and charge the total ticket amount to the Visa card even if ballot winners did not approach CTS branch offices to complete the ticket purchase process.
  4. For those who are not allocated tickets in Phase 2, there is no handling fee incurred. CTS will not charge any amount to the Visa card. For those who submitted the cheque during application, applicants will need to approach the same CTS branch during office hours with their HKID card to collect the cheque.
  5. Remaining tickets after Phase 2 will be open for sale from 29 January 2008. All applicants will need to submit a Ticket Purchaser's Record Sheet at any CTS branches for ticket purchase.

Phase 3: Collection of Olympic tickets; Sales of the remaining tickets (As from July 2008)

  1. Official Games Tickets shall be available for collection from July 2008. Holders of Ticket Exchange Coupons shall present their Coupons at designated CTS branches in exchange for Olympic tickets.
  2. Any remaining tickets shall be open for public sale at designated CTS branches.
